DALLAS — In a move that could hurt residential kitchen cabinetry remodelers, U.S. Home Systems Inc. launched an online kitchen designer tool to help homeowners design their own kitchen cabinetry layout, using cabinet refacing and other pre-set options.
The site is branded under US Remodelers, an operating subsidiary of U.S. Home Systems, and co-branded with Home Depot. US Remodelers has set up kitchen cabinetry remodeling displays at hundreds of Home Depots as part of its business strategy. The program has been extended through 2014.
